superandrey-rocks-in-milan-!

It wasn’t surprising, after all. SuperAndrey is already a known name in the fashion industry…

SuperAndrey for Trussardi. Amazing fashion show- including old-fashioned bicycles and greyhounds (symbol of the Trussardi family).

Neil Barrett.

Very pop-ish on the catwalk of Moschino, boys walking in the middle of a huge shopping mall. SuperAndrey spotted between ketchups and canned soups.)

Iceberg.

Daniele Alessandrini.

And finally, Costume National.

SUPERANDREY during the Paris Fashion Week - FW 2012/2013

Paris, the city of love, the city of fashion. And if you love fashion, there is nothing more to say…

As SUPERANDREY changed Milan for Paris, so did fashion. The gentlemen seen in Italy transformed into young rebels looking neat, yet not afraid of playing with clothes.

Acne, the show SUPERANDREY opened, represented a breath of fresh air with all the clothes looking rich, rich, rich, while screaming “fake, fake, fake” at the same time. Fake furs, leatherette, polyester. So did the collection designed by Kris Van Assche, who dared to combine workwear with more formal clothes in one outfit, or the line done by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the designers of Kenzo, who – inspired by Steve Jobs – created very wearable pieces embodying the confident and successful generation of young men growing up during the Internet boom.

A little bit more daring and let’s say sophisticated designs were to be found on the catwalks of Damir Doma, Bill Gaytten – the current designer of John Galliano, Wooyoungmi or Julius. Dark and somehow minimal. Nevertheless, they managed to keep the mood of preceding collections, and as a result, all the Parisian shows SUPERANDREY walked somehow suggested that one does not necessarily have to look super polished to be gentle.

Enjoy the pictures below, gentlemen, and get inspired.

SUPERANDREY during the Milan fashion week FW 2012/2013

The Milan Fashion Week is over. Don’t cry. After all, you finally have time to cool off and go through the shows again!

As the last collection in Milan was over, fashionistas all around the world could finally do what they love the best – sit down, cool off, go back to all the wonderful work presented, and think about it. And if you think about it, there was this one idea that created some kind of a texture between all the shows. This je ne sais quoi all the designers every season seem to agree on. This season, it was the idea of a perfect gentleman.

Be it the A-line cuts of Neil Barrett, the mixture of a higher class look and the workers’ outfits as seen in the Iceberg collection, the Moschino formal pieces contrasting with a little bit more relaxed and bohemian ones of Costume National, or Hardy Amies, the brand that was not afraid to add a touch of glamour, gentlemen ruled the city. Even with owls and foxes on their Burberry Prorsum knitwear.

The biggest surprise, nevertheless, prepared Prada. The show brought us right in front of the red carpet, literally, with the red-carpet celebrities. Gary Oldman, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Bell. They rocked the house. But Miuccia’s purpose was not to show a perfect gentlemen. It was to make a parody of him. And with the formal pieces cut from denim, she succeeded brilliantly.

Finally, there was also something else that connected all the shows mentioned above. Or, properly put, someone. SUPERANDREY, walking all these shows, became a perfect gentleman himself and made us stare. Actually, he let us everything but cool off.

SUPERANDREY for Prada

Get inspired for the upcoming spring and summer. Just because it is not even Christmas does not mean it is not high time!

Every season, Prada takes us to a place that is as marvelous as the pieces themselves. This time, it was an industrial-like location in Tokyo Bay which turned out to be the best place to present the colorful collection for spring and summer 2012.That is because Miuccia’s designs too never fail to include sharp contrasts, the difference between wearable and unwearable, between the world of fantasy and reality.

As fashion reporter Tim Blanks aptly pointed, Miuccia Prada – known for being inspired by things she hates – most certainly is not a huge fan of golf. Her latest collection for spring/summer 2012 is the proof. You can simply love it or not, you can consider it wearable or not, but it is out there, and it is rather astonishing.

And to our great joy, SUPERANDREY was one of the models who walked the runway during the evening of Tuesday December 6th, during the biggest event this Italian brand ever held in Japan. Find him in the video wearing one of the outfits that are so incredible, yet so hard to describe.

SUPERKRYSTOF & SUPERDANIEL for Topshop

They say fashion shows are not all they are cracked up to be. They… are not right.

One would think that fashion shows are stressful, and even though the models look incredibly confident walking on the runway, they must be incredibly nervous too, clutching their stomach and praying for the best before their time comes. That may actually be true. But not if you are a supermodel like SUPERKRYSTOF and SUPERDANIEL who walked the runway for Topshop.

Not only were they totally relaxed as their looks were being done, they also managed to make a little backstage video… It seems like they had fun. And so did we.
